llms.txt Generator & Validator
Enter your domain and get a ready-to-publish llms.txt built
from your sitemap: your key pages, grouped into sections, in the format AI
assistants expect. If you already publish one, we lint it too.
llms.txt is a curated map of your site for AI systems
(ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity). Google now checks for it in Lighthouse's
agentic-browsing audit, making it an official AI-readiness signal.
What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is a plain-text file you publish at
yourdomain.com/llms.txt. It gives AI assistants a curated map
of your most important pages — in the order you want them read — using a
simple Markdown format the models understand.
Why it matters
ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, and Google's Lighthouse agentic-browsing
audit, use llms.txt to find and understand your key pages. A
good one improves how accurately AI answers represent your business
(generative and answer-engine optimisation, GEO/AEO). It is a
curated shortlist, not a sitemap dump: quality and order
matter more than listing every URL.
What this tool does
It reads your sitemap on any platform — WordPress,
Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, or a custom framework — ranks your key
pages and most recent posts (newest blog articles first), and produces a
ready-to-publish draft. Less important overflow is placed in an
## Optional section that AI can skip. If you already publish an
llms.txt, the tool validates it against the spec and lists any
issues.
How to use it
- Enter your domain above and generate the draft.
- Curate it: keep the pages an AI should read first; trim the rest.
- Save it as a file named
llms.txtat the root of your site so it is reachable atyourdomain.com/llms.txt.
